Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Empower College Prep Wolf (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Sequoia Charter Stallions (Mesa, AZ), saw Empower College Prep's basketball squad hold off Sequoia Charter by a tally of 51-47.

With the victory, Empower College Prep improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wolf host Southwest Leadership Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Southwest Leadership Academy won 70-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Adobe Mountain (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Stallions confront the Ridgeview College Prep Lions (San Tan Valley, AZ) in a Freelance test, on Wednesday, January 24. Sequoia Charter will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record.
