North Carolina High School Basketball - Research Triangle holds off Eno River
January 22, 2024: Hillsborough, NC 27278 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) and the host Eno River Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC), saw Research Triangle's basketball squad hold off Eno River by a tally of 51-48.
With the victory, Research Triangle improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Raptors host East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC) to confront the Eagles in a 1A/2A Super Six challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. East Wake Academy lost 59-42 in their recent league challenge against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Voyager Vikings (Durham, NC) in a 1A Triangle North challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Eno River will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 89-49 league win over Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC).
