New York High School Basketball - Northville knocked off by Fort Edward
January 22, 2024: Fort Edward, NY 12828 The Fort Edward Flying Forts basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Northville Falcons to 32 in the Flying Forts non-league triumph on Monday.
The Flying Forts now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitehall for a Section 2 Adirondack contest on Wednesday, January 24. Fort Edward will meet a Railroaders team coming off a 50-38 non-league loss to Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY). The Railroaders record now stands at 9-4.
The Falcons (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mayfield (Mayfield, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 2 Western - Hudson contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Mayfield ran past Galway (Galway, NY), 50-42, in a league contest.
