South Dakota High School Basketball - Freeman nips Parker
January 22, 2024: Freeman, SD 57029 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD) and the visiting Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD), saw Freeman's basketball squad hold off Parker by a count of 47-41.
With the victory, Freeman upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Avon (Avon, SD) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 1-7.
Next up, the Pheasants play the West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Parker will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 49-43 non-league loss to Lennox (Lennox, SD).
