The Eagles now possess a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marquette for a Tri-Rivers battle on Tuesday, January 23. Midland will confront a Defenders team coming off a 74-46 non-league win over Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA). The Defenders record now stands at 15-0.
The Warriors (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA). The Warhawks come into the South Iowa Cedar battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, North Mahaska beat Baxter (Baxter, IA), 62-50, in a non-league battle.
