January 22, 2024: Lake Balboa, CA 91406 The Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars basketball team (Lake Balboa, CA), was overwhelmed 52-25 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting New Roads Jaguars (Santa Monica, CA)
The Jaguars (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Vistamar (El Segundo, CA). The Vikings go into the Coastal outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Vistamar was trounced by California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA), 47-45, in a league outing.
The Cougars now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Magnolia Science Academy Reseda for a Central Valley outing on Wednesday, January 24. Lake Balboa College Prep will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 68-36 league loss to Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
