Wisconsin High School Basketball - Randolph can't hold off Poynette
January 22, 2024: Poynette, WI 53955 The Poynette Pumas basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Randolph Rockets to 42 in the Pumas non-league victory on Monday.
The Pumas now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Glarus for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Poynette will battle a Glarner Knights team coming off a 54-43 league win over Cambridge (Cambridge, WI). The Glarner Knights record now stands at 10-5.
The Rockets (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fall River (Fall River, WI). The Pirates come into the Trailways - West contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Fall River edged Westfield Area (Westfield, WI), 57-55, in a non-league contest.
