New York High School Basketball - Taft nudges Roosevelt Educational
January 22, 2024: Bronx, NY 10458 Taft Golden Eagles (Bronx, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Roosevelt Educational Roughriders (Bronx, NY), 47-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Walton (Bronx, NY) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Walton lost 71-37 in their recent league bout against Columbus (Bronx, NY)
Next up, the Roughriders clash with the Lehman Lions (Bronx, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Roosevelt Educational will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 58-39 non-league loss to Gompers (Bronx, NY).
