January 22, 2024: New Sharon, IA 50207 The Baxter basketball team (Baxter, IA), was overwhelmed 75-20 in Monday's non-league battle with the host North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA)
The Warhawks now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host H-L-V for a South Iowa Cedar battle on Tuesday, January 23. North Mahaska will battle a Warriors team coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Midland (Wyoming, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-4.
The (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA). The Warriors come into the Iowa Star battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Meskwaki Settlement trounced North Tama (Traer, IA), 64-34, in a league battle.
