South Dakota High School Basketball - Ethan overwhelms Canistota
January 22, 2024: Ethan, SD 57334 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) and the visiting Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD), saw Ethan's basketball squad wallop Canistota by a tally of 70-31.
With the victory, Ethan improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Rustlers travel to Howard (Howard, SD) to confront the Tigers in a B Region 3 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Howard lost 68-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Sioux Valley (Volga, SD)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Canistota will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Flyers come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 65-34 non-league win over Parker (Parker, SD).
