Ohio High School Basketball - Claymont can't hold off St. Clairsville
January 22, 2024: Uhrichsville, OH 44683 The St. Clairsville Red Devils basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Claymont Mustangs to 53 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Monday.
The Red Devils now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edison for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. St. Clairsville will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 77-63 league win over Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-8.
The Mustangs (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH). The Generals come into the Inter-Valley contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Ridgewood edged Coshocton (Coshocton, OH), 49-15, in a non-league contest.
