January 22, 2024: Fort Sumner, NM 88119 Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM), 51-8 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fort Sumner/House upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The host Logan (Logan, NM) to play the Longhorns in a A District 6 bout on Thursday, January 25. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Logan lost 57-38 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM)
Next up, the Colts play the Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. New Mexico Military Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 45-30 non-league win over Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM).
