Wisconsin High School Basketball - Markesan ripped by Waterloo
January 22, 2024: Markesan, WI 53946 The Waterloo Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Markesan Hornets to 29 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pirates now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cambridge for a Capitol - South contest on Friday, January 26. Waterloo will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 60-53 league win over Belleville (Belleville, WI). The Bluejays record now stands at 11-7.
The Hornets (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Montello (Montello, WI). The Hilltoppers enter the Trailways - West contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, Montello was routed by Pardeeville (Pardeeville, WI), 58-41, in a league contest.
