The Mather Rangers basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Rickover Naval Seadragons to 38 in the Rangers league triumph on Monday.
The Rangers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chicago Sullivan for a Chicago Public - Blue Northwest contest on Tuesday, January 23. Mather will meet a Tigers team coming off a 49-14 league loss to Chicago Mathematics & Science (Chicago, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-9.
The Seadragons (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Senn (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs come into the Chicago Public - Blue Northwest challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Senn was edged by Ogden International (Chicago, IL), 52-37, in a league challenge.
