Washington High School Basketball - Burlington-Edison holds off Nooksack Valley
January 22, 2024: Everson, WA 98247 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) and the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), saw Burlington-Edison's basketball squad hold off Nooksack Valley by a tally of 52-45.
With the victory, Burlington-Edison improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA) to confront the Cubs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Sedro-Woolley won 57-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Nooksack Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 68-50 non-league win over Ferndale (Ferndale, WA).
