January 22, 2024: Belle Chasse, LA 70037 Belle Chasse Cardinals (Belle Chasse, LA) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals confront the Thibodaux Tigers (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Belle Chasse will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 8-0 league loss to Hahnville (Boutte, LA).
The Warriors now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Shaw for a Division II District 7 challenge on Thursday, January 25. East Jefferson will confront a Eagles team coming off a 5-0 league win over L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
