January 22, 2025: Austin, TX 78746 The St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans (Austin, TX) basketball edged the visiting Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors (Austin, TX), 51-49 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Greenhill for a Southwest Prep - North bout on Friday, January 24. St. Stephen's Episcopal will play a Hornets team coming off a 59-51 league loss to St. Mark's (Dallas, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 22-3.
With the loss, Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin falls to 12-13 on the campaign. The Raptors host Bastrop (Bastrop, TX) to play the Bears in a 5A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, January 24. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 9-18. Bastrop lost 56-50 in their recent league bout against Navarro (Austin, TX)
