January 22, 2025: Bessemer, PA 16112 The Shenango Wildcats basketball squad (New Castle, PA), was crushed 71-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA)
With the victory, Mohawk Area advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to South Range (Canfield, OH) to meet the Raiders in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 11-2. South Range won 63-47 in their recent league battle against Struthers (Struthers, OH)
The Wildcats now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laurel for a WPIAL 2A 4 battle on Friday, January 24. Shenango will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 64-36 league loss to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-8.
