New York High School Basketball - Port Jervis bounced by Wallenpaupack Area
January 22, 2025: Port Jervis, NY 12771 The Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Port Jervis Raiders to 37 in the Buckhorns non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Buckhorns now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Abington Heights for a Lackawanna 1 game on Friday, January 24. Wallenpaupack Area will confront a Comets team coming off a 77-42 league win over West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Comets record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Port Jervis falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Liberty (Liberty, NY) to confront the Indians in a Section 9 Orange County III game on Thursday, January 30. The Indians go into the game with a record of 4-6.
