January 22, 2025: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91701 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) and the visiting Damien Spartans (La Verne, CA), observed Rancho Cucamonga's basketball team knock off Damien by a score of 67-58.
The Cougars (20-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Upland (Upland, CA). The Highlanders/Scots come into the challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Upland was knocked off by Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA), 62-29, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Etiwanda Eagles (Etiwanda, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 24. Damien will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 63-56 league win over Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA).
