January 22, 2025: Addison, IL 60101 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL) and the visiting Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL), observed Addison Trail's basketball team edge Westmont by a score of 40-33.
The Blazers (9-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles come into the West Suburban - Gold challenge with a 17-7 record. In their last challenge, Leyden edged Wheeling (Wheeling, IL), 55-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Sentinels battle the Our Lady of Tepeyac Tigers (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Prep challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Westmont will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 41-33 league loss to Christ the King (Chicago, IL).
