North Carolina High School Basketball - Atkins overwhelmed by Parkland

January 22, 2025: Winston-Salem, NC 27101

In Wednesday's non-league test, the Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), by a score of 71-41.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) in a 4A Central Piedmont test, on Friday, January 24. Parkland will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 9-7 record after their 49-39 non-league loss to Randleman (Randleman, NC).

The Camels (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the 3A Mid-State test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Ben L. Smith bounced Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC), 57-37, in a league test.
