In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Center Grove Trojans basketball team scored a good 49-32 triumph over the Cathedral Fighting Irish.

The Trojans (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN). The Royals go into the non-league contest with a 19-0 record.

In their next game, the Fighting Irish battle the Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Cathedral will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 12-7 record after their 59-46 league loss to Columbia City (Columbia City, IN).
