The Michigan Center Cardinals (Michigan Center, MI) basketball toppled the visiting Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI), 49-33 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Napoleon for a Cascades bout on Friday, January 24. Michigan Center will play a Pirates team coming off a 54-46 league loss to Homer (Homer, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Columbia Central falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Jonesville (Jonesville, MI) to play the Comets in a Cascades bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 8-4.
