In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Galileo Lions basketball team scored a good 58-50 win over the Balboa Buccaneers.

The Lions (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Burton (San Francisco, CA). The Pumas come into the contest with a 3-3 record.

In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the El Camino Colts (South San Francisco, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Balboa will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record.
