California High School Basketball - East Bakersfield holds off Del Oro
January 22, 2025: Bakersfield, CA 93306 The East Bakersfield Blades basketball team scored 33 points and limited the visiting Del Oro Suns to 31 in the Blades non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Blades now have a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Tehachapi for a game on Friday, January 24. East Bakersfield will confront a Warriors team coming off a 55-34 league win over South (Bakersfield, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, Del Oro falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Suns travel to Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a game on Friday, January 24. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-5. Golden Valley lost 31-22 in their recent league game against Foothill (Bakersfield, CA)
