Minnesota High School Basketball - Sibley-Ocheyedan nips Adrian
January 23, 2023: Adrian, MN 56110 Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Adrian Dragons (Adrian, MN), 88-85 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sibley-Ocheyedan upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Generals host Okoboji (Milford, IA) to play the Pioneers in a Siouxland bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Okoboji lost 60-40 in their recent league bout against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA)
Next up, the Dragons play the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN) in a A Section 3 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Adrian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 89-86 league loss to Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN).
