Iowa High School Basketball - AGWSR knocked off by Belmond-Klemme
January 23, 2023: Belmond, IA 50421 The Belmond-Klemme Broncos basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting AGWSR Cougars to 37 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Monday.
The Broncos now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Union for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Belmond-Klemme will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-45 non-league win over Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-4.
The Cougars (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA). The Spartans enter the North Iowa Cedar - West contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Grundy Center ran past Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA), 68-66, in a non-league contest.
