January 23, 2023: Aurora, CO 80015 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO) and the visiting Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO), saw Smoky Hill's basketball squad overcome Chaparral by a tally of 71-63.
With the victory, Smoky Hill improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Arapahoe (Centennial, CO) to confront the Warriors in a 6A Centennial challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Arapahoe won 51-41 in their recent league challenge against Grandview (Aurora, CO)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) in a 6A/5A Continental challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Chaparral will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 84-60 league loss to ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO).
