The Hardin Valley Academy Hawks basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Clinton Dragons to 42 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farragut for a 4A District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Hardin Valley Academy will meet a Admirals team coming off a 60-33 league win over Heritage (Maryville, TN). The Admirals record now stands at 13-10.

The Dragons (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Highlanders enter the 3A District 4 contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Scott was routed by Apostolic Christian (Knoxville, TN), 68-66, in a non-league contest.
