January 23, 2023: Coleman, MI 48618 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Farwell Eagles (Farwell, MI) and the host Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI), saw Farwell's basketball squad overcome Coleman by a tally of 66-58.
With the victory, Farwell improves its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Beaverton (Beaverton, MI) to confront the Beavers in a Jack Pine challenge on Friday, January 27. The Beavers come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Beaverton lost 81-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI)
Next up, the Comets confront the Ashley Bears (Ashley, MI) in a Mid-State challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Coleman will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 62-23 league loss to Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI).
