Roosevelt Rough Riders (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Morton Grove Academy Crescents (Morton Grove, IL), 73-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Rough Riders host Clemente (Chicago, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-13. Clemente won 71-55 in their recent league bout against Juarez (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Crescents play the Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Morton Grove Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 51-31 league loss to College Prep of America (Lombard, IL).
