Mississippi High School Basketball - Potts Camp tipped by New Site
January 23, 2023: New Site, MS 38859 The New Site Royals basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Potts Camp Cardinals to 57 in the Royals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Royals now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Union for a 2A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, January 24. New Site will meet a Urchins team coming off a 69-42 league loss to Pine Grove (Ripley, MS). The Urchins record now stands at 9-12.
The Cardinals (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Byers (Holly Springs, MS). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Byers nudged Ashland (Ashland, MS), 80-32, in a league contest.
