West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host BCLUW Comets (Conrad, IA), 72-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Marshall upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Nevada (Nevada, IA) to play the Cubs in a Heart of Iowa bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Nevada lost 48-22 in their recent non-league bout against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA)

Next up, the Comets play the Colo-NESCO Royals (Colo, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. BCLUW will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 46-23 league loss to North Tama (Traer, IA).
