Maryland High School Basketball - Fort Hill overwhelms Bishop Walsh
January 23, 2023: Cumberland, MD 21502 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) and the host Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD), saw Fort Hill's basketball squad wallop Bishop Walsh by a tally of 63-26.
With the victory, Fort Hill improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV) to confront the Falcons in a Appalachian Mountain challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Frankfort won 47-44 in their recent league challenge against Keyser (Keyser, WV)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Rockwood Rockets (Rockwood, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Bishop Walsh will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
