Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Keystone Oaks overwhelms Carlynton
January 23, 2023: Carnegie, PA 15106 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA) and the host Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA), saw Keystone Oaks's basketball squad wallop Carlynton by a count of 63-23.
With the victory, Keystone Oaks upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA) to play the Chargers in a WPIAL 3A 2 challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart won 62-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Carlynton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 40-30 non-league win over West Greene (Waynesburg, PA).
