Maryland High School Basketball - Winters Mill nips Centennial
January 23, 2023: Westminster, MD 21157 Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD), 36-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Winters Mill upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Falcons travel to Century (Sykesville, MD) to play the Knights in a Carroll County bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Century won 46-37 in their recent non-league bout against Fallston (Fallston, MD)
Next up, the Eagles play the Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Lightning go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 45-25 league loss to Atholton (Columbia, MD).
