The Geneva County Bulldogs basketball team (Hartford, AL), was toppled 62-45 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Paxton Bobcats (Paxton, FL)

The Bobcats now possess a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marianna for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 26. Paxton will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-30 non-league loss to Blountstown (Blountstown, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-11.

The Bulldogs (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL). The Bears come into the 2A Area 2 battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Cottonwood beat Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL), 42-32, in a non-league battle.
