Pennsylvania High School Basketball - South Fayette crushes Indiana
January 23, 2023: Indiana, PA 15701 South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Indiana Little Indians (Indiana, PA), 81-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South Fayette upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA) to clash with the Tigers in a WPIAL 5A 4 bout on Thursday, January 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Moon Area won 47-43 in their recent non-league bout against Central Valley (Monaca, PA)
Next up, the Little Indians clash with the Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Indiana will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 38-33 league win over Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).
