Illinois High School Basketball - Salt Fork overwhelms Iroquois West
January 23, 2023: Gilman, IL 60938 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) and the host Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL), saw Salt Fork's basketball squad wallop Iroquois West by a tally of 51-19.
With the victory, Salt Fork improves its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Storm host Watseka (Watseka, IL) to confront the Warriors in a Vermilion Valley challenge on Monday, January 30. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 19-4.
Next up, the Raiders confront the Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Iroquois West will attempt to improve on its 14-11 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 5-18 record after their 39-32 league loss to Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL).
