January 23, 2023: Kewanee, IL 61443 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL) and the host Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL), saw Monmouth-Roseville's basketball squad wallop Kewanee by a tally of 51-28.
With the victory, Monmouth-Roseville improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL) to play the Rockets in a Three Rivers - West challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 2-17. Rockridge lost 66-20 in their recent league challenge against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL)
Next up, the Boilermakers play the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a Three Rivers - East challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Kewanee will attempt to improve on its 7-18 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 7-15 record after their 56-36 league win over Mendota (Mendota, IL).
