New Mexico High School Basketball - Manzano tops Rio Rancho
January 23, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87112 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), saw Manzano's basketball squad knock off Rio Rancho by a count of 78-66.
With the victory, Manzano upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Demons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Santa Fe won 69-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM)
Next up, the Rams play the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Rio Rancho will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 60-25 non-league win over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM).
