New York High School Basketball - Albany Academy for Boys holds off Shaker
January 23, 2024: Albany, NY 12208 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) and the visiting Shaker Bison (Latham, NY), saw Albany Academy for Boys's basketball squad hold off Shaker by a tally of 64-60.
With the victory, Albany Academy for Boys improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT) to confront the Green Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Green Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-0. Rice Memorial won 69-57 in their recent league challenge against South Burlington (South Burlington, VT)
Next up, the Bison confront the Green Tech Eagles (Albany, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Shaker will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 76-62 non-league win over Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY).
