Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Rochester tops Aquinas Academy
January 23, 2024: Gibsonia, PA 15044 Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Aquinas Academy Crusaders (Gibsonia, PA), 87-77 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Rochester upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Rams host Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Beaver Falls won 68-62 in their recent league bout against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Hillel Academy (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 3 bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Aquinas Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 0-0 league Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA).
