New Mexico High School Basketball - Crownpoint overwhelmed by Rehoboth Christian
January 23, 2024: Rehoboth, NM 87322 The Rehoboth Christian Lynx basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Crownpoint Eagles to 49 in the Lynx non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lynx now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thoreau for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Rehoboth Christian will battle a Hawks team coming off a 89-59 league loss to Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 6-10.
The Eagles (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Zuni (Zuni, NM). The Thunderbirds come into the 3A District 1 contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Zuni was routed by Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM), 74-32, in a league contest.
