Oklahoma High School Basketball - Tipton holds off Grandfield
January 23, 2024: Tipton, OK 73570 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Tipton Tigers (Tipton, OK) and the visiting Grandfield Bearcats (Grandfield, OK), saw Tipton's basketball squad hold off Grandfield by a tally of 2-0.
With the victory, Tipton improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Chattanooga (Chattanooga, OK) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Chattanooga won 75-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Temple (Temple, OK)
Next up, the Bearcats confront the Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK) in a Southern Eight challenge, on Friday, January 26. Grandfield will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Blue Jays come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 70-66 league win over Temple (Temple, OK).
