Ohio High School Basketball - Granville overwhelms Lakewood
January 23, 2024: Hebron, OH 43025 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH) and the host Lakewood Lancers (Hebron, OH), saw Granville's basketball squad wallop Lakewood by a count of 56-34.
With the victory, Granville upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Blue Aces travel to Marion-Franklin (Columbus, OH) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Marion-Franklin lost 80-48 in their recent league challenge against South (Columbus, OH)
Next up, the Lancers play the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) in a Licking County - Cardinal challenge, on Friday, January 26. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Johnnies come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH).
