Oklahoma High School Basketball - Minco can't hold off Hydro-Eakly
January 23, 2024: Hydro, OK 73048 The Hydro-Eakly Bobcats basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Minco Bulldogs to 54 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calumet for a Washita Valley contest on Friday, January 26. Hydro-Eakly will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 73-52 non-league win over Southwest Covenant (Yukon, OK). The Chieftains record now stands at 16-0.
The Bulldogs (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Verden (Verden, OK). The Tigers enter the Grady County contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Verden was nudged by Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK), 56-53, in a league contest.
