Louisiana High School Basketball - Iowa trounces Kinder
January 23, 2024: Kinder, LA 70648 The Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) basketball crushed the host Kinder Yellowjackets (Kinder, LA), 77-15 in Tuesday's league test.
The Yellowjackets (21-3) will now prepare for their test against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights go into the 3A District 3 test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, South Beauregard was trounced by St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA), 46-31, in a league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 8-18 record. They play next when they travel to Jennings for a 3A District 3 test on Friday, January 26. Kinder will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 64-63 non-league win over Comeaux (Lafayette, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-8.
