January 23, 2024: Leadville, CO 80461 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lake County Panthers (Leadville, CO) and the visiting Jefferson Saints (Edgewater, CO), saw Lake County's basketball squad hold off Jefferson by a tally of 59-56.
With the victory, Lake County improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Englewood (Englewood, CO) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Englewood won 61-48 in their recent non-league challenge against The Pinnacle (Federal Heights, CO)
Next up, the Saints play the Arrupe Jesuit Generals (Denver, CO) in a 4A Frontier challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 47-36 league win over KIPP Denver Collegiate (Denver, CO).
